To the Beach is thick with layers of paint diluted with ocean water and a bit of beach sand.  For anyone who has walked through the Oregon dunes to the beach in Cannon Beach knows this feeling well.  It is that AHA moment.  Anticipation personified.  Sage greens, orange, yellow, pink, blue, browns, and lavendar colors are layered with brush and palette knife over heavy molding paste to create a tactile feel of dune grass.  The painting is signed and dated on the back.  This style of painting is excellent for beach cottage, French country, transitional, or shabby chic decor style.
