This little gem has lots of impasto because I mixed paint with molding paste and applied with only a soft palette knife.  This is the quintessential Gearhart, Oregon view of the beach and ocean through the dunes in Spring.  With Tillamook Head and Terrible Tilly Lighthouse rock off it's tip on the ocean horizon,  beach grasses in the foreground are heaped in the pastel colors that pop in the spring from wild flowers growing in the dunes. The painting 8x8 and framed with an extra thick 8 ply mat and fresh white frame 13.5x13.5.  It is signed and dated on the back.  This style of painting is excellent for beach cottage, French country, transitional, or shabby chic decor style.
