The iconic benches in Gearhart, Oregon line through the dunes like soldiers watching over the ocean.  Gearhart Benches has lots of thick impasto and pastel colors in shades of yellow, green, and blue.  Mixed from just three colors - magenta, cobalt blue, and cad yellow - most of the strokes are applied with a flexible palette knife.  This painting is signed and dated on the back and is ready to hang.  The impressionistic style is excellent for beach cottage, French country, transitional, or shabby chic decor.
